Bodhicaryavatara in according with Bodhi Tree

Teachings on Shantideva's Bodhicaryavatara and on "The Precious Bodhi Tree" by Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche We would like to invite all Dharma Friends to participate in "Bodhicaryavatara in according with Bodhi Tree", course taking place from 11 to 15 November 2010 in Srebrna Góra in Poland.
It’s subject matter will be a commentary of the 2nd chapter "Confession" of Shantideva’s "Bodhicaryavatara" (The Way of the Bodhisattva) given by Patrul Rinpoche in accordance with another text written by Rinpoche in this lifetime: "The Precious Bodhi Tree"
The course will be a 5-days retreat, with food and accommodation provided at the site. Teachings will be preceded by a public conference given by Rinpoche in Warsaw.

The Way of the Bodhisattva "Bodhicaryavatara" is a guide to cultivating the mind of enlightenment, and to generate the qualities of love, compassion, generosity, and patience. This poem has been studied, practiced, and expounded for centuries, first in India, and later in Tibet. It outlines the path of the Bodhisattvas – those who renounce the peace of individual enlightenment and who commit to work for the liberation of all beings and to attain Buddhahood for their sake.
The Precious Bodhi Tree - teachings on impartial compassion, based on a composition of Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche. 2010 is a very special and fortunate year for Rinpoche's students. Rinpoche will offer teachings on "The Precious Bodhi Tree" at all centres he visits this year. It will be a very rare and precious opportunity to study and be inspired by this profound text composed by Rinpoche himself.
Clearly presenting the relationship between the sickness of ego-grasping and samsara on the one hand, and medicinal impartial compassion and nirvana on the other, the wish-fulfilling Precious Bodhi Tree aims at sowing the seed of bodhicitta in us, powerfully instilling compassion and inspiring us to take refuge in its shelter until we attain the supreme fruit of unchangeable Buddhahood.
